Phytoembryotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy that specifically incorporates embryonic plant tissues (buds, young shoots, etc.) containing plant meristem cells, rapidly dividing, undifferentiated cells that contain the plant's genetic blueprint and material. These embryonic tissues are rich in beneficial phytochemical compounds, including: plant growth factors and hormones, enzymes, nucleic acids, trace elements, and phytonutrients such as polyphenols and flavonoids.
