Bach Flower Remedies (46)

History of Rescue® and Bach Original Flower Remedies®

Edward Bach developed the 38 Bach Flower Remedies® between 1928 and 1935 in England.

He settled in Mount Vernon, Oxfordshire, to dedicate himself to researching the integration of nature into medicine.

Edward Bach was convinced that an individual's state of mind played a vital role in maintaining good health.

Since the 1930s, the 38 Bach Original Flower Remedies® have been manufactured in England from flowers, tree blossoms, and wild plant flowers.

Developed in 1936 by Edward Bach, the Rescue® blend is composed of 5 Bach Original Flower Remedies® that contribute to daily serenity for the whole family, in all circumstances.

  • Star of Bethlehem: Comfort
  • Impatiens: Patience
  • Cherry Plum: Self-control
  • Clematis: Attention
  • Rock Rose: Courage

In the 1960s, based on Edward Bach's research, his assistant Nora Weeks developed Rescue® Cream. It was the first galenic form for external application. Rescue® Cream contains the 5 Bach Original Flower Remedies® from Rescue®, plus Crab Apple, the flower of self-acceptance, to soothe the body and face.

According to him, it is better to be in emotional harmony to live one's daily life serenely.
