Phytoembryotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy that particularly incorporates embryonic plant tissues (buds, young shoots, etc.) containing undifferentiated plant meristem cells, cells that multiply very quickly and where the plant's genetic material and portrait are found. These embryonic tissues are rich in beneficial phytochemicals such as growth factors, plant hormones, enzymes, nucleic acids, trace elements, and phytonutrients like polyphenols and flavonoids.
