Green Beaver was founded on the belief that humans can live happily and healthily using the riches provided by Mother Nature. For us, it is a priority to use, wherever possible, only locally grown organic ingredients. By doing so, we reduce energy consumption and waste production while encouraging Canadian farmers to use organic farming methods. In truth, we all have the power to influence industries that have a negative impact. We can do this through the choices we make in our consumer products.

At Green Beaver, we do not use any synthetic substitutes. For example, we only use natural vitamin E instead of chemically manufactured vitamin E, although this would allow us to reduce our costs and increase our profitability. This does not align with our belief in using ingredients made with "green technology," meaning natural ingredients that are as effective as synthetic ingredients, but without any toxins.

We are against animal testing and the killing of animals for production purposes. Everything we do is pro-vegan, except for lip balms which contain organic beeswax from Dan and Nina's "Hockley Valley Honey Farm".

Finally, we believe in making products that can be used safely by everyone. That's why all our products are gluten-free and do not contain nuts, except for our eye make-up remover. In other words, our philosophy is to live healthily and happily, and that is exactly what we intend to do.
